In a time when so much is out of our control, gratitude is one sure source of joy. Isn’t it amazing how doing something to help others make us feel so good? Whether it is lending a helping hand or giving, we enjoy sharing with others. Here are the non-profits we supported and the phenomenal work they do.
Lights On! A program of MicroGrants
A broken taillight or turn signal means choosing between a minor auto repair or buying essentials for some. It can also spark a downward economic spiral, yielding multiple tickets, confrontations with law enforcement, and loss of license or vehicle impoundment. Lights On! provides repair vouchers in lieu of a ticket, creating positive police-community interactions and sparking societal change.
Inequity goes beyond education to internships and workplace opportunities. The BrandLab is bridging the opportunity gap for disadvantaged students to enter the marketing and communications industry. We support creating opportunities for a brighter future for students and The BrandLab’s mission to change the face and voice of the marketing industry.
Northside Achievement Zone (NAZ)
NAZ has a game-changing approach that is closing the achievement gap. They effectively support low-income children of color in North Minneapolis so that they will graduate from high school and be prepared for college.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
JDRF supports millions of people by accelerating breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D. Their research and advocacy is creating better lives for those living with T1D.
We care about sustainability and protecting our natural resources, especially with all of the great wilderness Minnesota has to offer. Trout Unlimited gives all parties a seat at the table to protect, reconnect, restore and sustain our coldwater resources.
Boundary Waters Action Fund (BWAF)
The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is an amazing resource we have access to, especially as Minnesotans. We want to see it preserved for future generations to come.
