Congratulations are in order! Our founder, Stacia Nelson, along with Virginia Clay-Chism and Karin Petty have been selected as 2020 Notable Women in Technology by Twin Cities Business.
Stacia Nelson, Pivot Strategies
In 2015, Stacia launched Pivot and discovered a need for better IT communications. She is known for using compelling, clear and creative internal PR campaigns that redefine IT initiatives. As CEO at Pivot, she has a passion for working with IT executives, to help tell their stories and create alignment with their teams.
Virginia Clay-Chism, Medtronic
Virginia is an accomplished professional, relationship-builder and leader. As IT director of global user services at Medtronic, she drives IT strategy while also giving time to her community – sitting on multiple boards and mentoring women interested in STEM careers. She is a constant force for good, focused on increasing representation and visibility in IT for BIPOC and women.
Karin Petty, Abbott Laboratories
Karin is an IT leader, dedicated to improving the internal employee technology experience. We admire her community commitment through volunteerism, advocating for inclusive hiring practices and elevating other women in IT. Karin is currently the senior IT director, end user experience at Abbott Laboratories.
Pivot is proud of the work we have done with Medtronic, Abbott Laboratories and other corporate clients on global change transformation projects. We also would like to congratulate all of the other Notable Women In Technology honorees. Click here for the full list of all the amazing women IT leaders selected this year by Twin Cities Business.
