The situation

The company was transitioning payroll systems from PeopleSoft to ADP Technologies – a 21-month project. This highly complex transition had broad-reaching impacts to Human Resources, Reporting and Finance teams. The transition required a multi-faceted communications approach to reach a complex mix of technology and non-technology enabled employees – from executives to plant workers (without email). The change in payroll systems would enable employees to be able to view their pay statements at work, online or via a new mobile app.
